Sonos redesigns the Nasdaq Bell

In celebration of the Sonos IPO and the longterm partnership with Nasdaq, the sound experience team at Sonos redesigned the 18-year-old bell that marks the start and end of trading.
Led by Grammy Award-winning producer Giles Martin and Academy Award winning sound designer (and Sonos Sound Board member) Chris Jenkins, Sonos partnered with Nasdaq to create a new sound for the Nasdaq Bell. The Bell is comprised of more than 100 different sounds, including Tibetan bowls, mallets, screwdrivers, drumsticks and spinning coins - and will continue to live on at Nasdaq.
